Illinois Wing 2008 Summer Encampment Video from Springfield's Own C/Maj Katie Bishop

Cadet Major Katie Bishop of the Springfield Composite Squadron created this video of the 2008 Illinois Wing Summer Encampment, held at the Illinois Military Academy at Camp Lincoln in Springfield, Illinois.  We had 170 cadets from Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan and Texas!  Was it fun?  Absolutely!  As the last panel of the video says, "See you back here in 2009!"

One of our fellow CAP squadrons, the Viking Composite Squadron in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, created the video below.  They've done an outstanding job of brining to life all of the aspects of being in Civil Air Patrol for cadets and adult officers alike.  Kudos to the great people of the Viking Composite Squadron, and many thanks to them for posting this on YouTube for all of us to enjoy!
