CADET UNIFORMS

Cadet Programs Officer: Capt Nina Rossini, 217-280-0648, flyingfin1@aol.com

Part of the initial membership fees cadets pay are used by CAP to provide them with the basics of their two uniforms:  the Air Force Style Class 'A' (blues) uniform, and the woodland cammo Battle Dress Uniform (BDU).

Some uniform items are provided by CAP National Headquarters, some are provided by the squadron, and the remainder must be provided by the cadet.

Information about obtaining the items for the two types of uniforms is given below.  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask the Cadet Programs Officer.

Air Force Style Class 'A' (Blues) Uniform

The Cadet Uniform Program from CAP national headquarters provides new cadets with the main ingredients of an Air Force style blues uniform at no cost to the cadet (while federal funds remain available).

Click here for the latest complete information on how to order your cadet's free blues uniform:  the Cadet Uniform Information page of the Civil Air Patrol national website.

These will help:

PLEASE NOTE:  It is the responsibility of the cadet and his/her parents/guardians to acquire these free Blues uniforms through national headquarters using e-Services!  Please follow the directions given on the national headquarters Cadet Uniform Information page linked above.  If you feel that it is taking too long for your cadet to receive his/her uniform, CALL THE NUMBER on the Cadet Uniform Information page linked above and ask about the status.  Call them as often as you need to in order to get results.
